Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre

Providing project management services to support the development of a new aquatic centre, the flagship project of the Victoria’s State Government’s Latrobe Valley Sports and Community Initiative

Situated in regional eastern Victoria, this new state of the art aquatic centre features a range of outstanding facilities for competitive and recreational swimming, leisure and fitness for the local community and major regional events.

Designed to have a strong sustainability focus, the centre is the first public aquatic facility in Victoria to incorporate a geothermal heating system. Geothermal heating is a sustainable energy source where geo-thermal energy is used to heat the pools instead of relying on natural gas. The new technology will significantly reduce the centre’s carbon footprint while also providing annual energy costs savings.

The Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre also features:
