Tetra Tech Coffey has been the trusted advisor and project manager for over 40 projects at Carey Baptist Grammar school. Our unique understanding of the Carey organisation, campuses and community operations has contributed to the effective management of the redevelopment project.
The middle school redevelopment is the cornerstone of Carey’s comprehensive Masterplan which seeks to facilitate leading edge pedagogy with modern, flexible learning spaces for years 7 – 9. In addition to the 5100m2 of new building works, the project also included the upgrade of the existing 800 seat Memorial Great Hall and Raymond Hall Drama Centre, totaling 700m2 of refurbishment.
Features of the development also include 28 general learning spaces created within five specialist learning precincts, three wet science labs, and two art and design spaces. There will also be extra seating provided in the Memorial Great Hall, in addition to the provision of extensive external learning and recreation spaces.
