Tony Scott awarded Honorary Life Membership of the Australasian Land and Groundwater Association

Tony Scott

Congratulations to Tony Scott, Senior Principal, Site Assessment and Remediation on being awarded Honorary Life Membership of the Australasian Land and Groundwater Association.

Australasian Land and Groundwater Association (ALGA) is the primary industry body for the contaminated land industry in Australia and New Zealand. This prestigious award is given to honour ALGA members who, through long and distinguished service, have made a significant contribution to the Association and to the profile of the contaminated land industry.

As a past President (2010-2012), Vice President (2007-2010) and Board Member (2007–2013) and subsequent ongoing contributions through specialist interest groups and as an advisor to the Board, Tony’s commitment to, and ongoing support of this industry body has helped shape it into a major force in the Australasian contaminated land industry. He is only the fourth person to receive this award since the Association’s inception in 2007.

“I am very honoured to receive this award and very proud of the support that Coffey gave to me in my roles at ALGA, but also the support Tetra Tech Coffey provided to ALGA from the beginning. Not only were Tetra Tech Coffey founding gold sponsors of the industry body, but senior staff played a key role in getting the Association up and running at the local level in both Australia and New Zealand,” said Tony.

Congratulations to Tony on this outstanding achievement—a worthy recognition of his exceptional contributions to the industry.
